When you think about it, four and a half years isn't that long to get from pile of rocks to our little slice of heaven (well, almost ....we still have many more plans to make it even more heavenly).

Lovely to show it to mum who was with me in summer 2018 at the meeting with the builder when I first sensed something was not quite right with the draughtsman....forcing us to abandon the project for nearly two years.
But now we're legal and this year, it has been rented full time from the end of May and enjoyed by myriad guests since we left after getting it ready for the season. We have one more week of a mad English family who want the pool left open at the end of October....wishful thinking.
Meanwhile, here are a few more photos of our nascent garden - and Polignano a Mare on a windy windy day....it's not hot, not even warm to be honest and that's a regret as we have had no summer this year but god, it's so beautiful!!
